Mine came from a local cic landing officer. The same questions just confirming if in canada with date and point of entry.

i dont know the actual time the decision was made; i checked my ecas at 2:00pm (i was on my lunch) and it was changed from IP to DM. Then i got an email from a CIC landing office to confirm whether my family are in Canada with details about POE and date of entry. No phone call.
