I applied OCI today hoping to receieve before Jan 1st week. I am traveling to India on Jan 10th. If I don't receieve my OCI, can I apply for visa?

Felt like I was lucky. It is little frustrating to see the oath coming for august & sept 2021 applicants while 2019 & 2020 applicants are still waiting. CIC should do first come first serve or at least they should clear up the old applications first instead of working on the new one.

Finally got an oath email!!! Scheduled on May 14th at 7:30AM. Super Early!!!!!! And on weekend. Not expected

Yes. I checked yesterday afternoon and there was no update. Waiting for email. I'll wait till tomorrow if not then will contact them on Thursday.

My citizenship test status is marked complete as of Mar 22. I gave a test on Mar 21 and scored 18/20 but I got a software update notification on my laptop during the test. I didn't open anything and went back to test but it counted as a warning during the test! :( I hope they don't ask me to...
