got a ghost update today. AoR May 25th CEC inland. Last update for medical passed June 1st week. No updates since then. No updates even in GCMS notes since Jun 1st week.

Pre ITA.. When you filled up the questionnaire, did you fill up Masters Degree when you ECA actually says that Masters degree is from a Unrecognized institution?

My BOWP was approved yesterday. Applied on Jul 20 Got it on Sep 25 Took 67 days .The CIC processing time was 50 days when I applied. Now it shows 58 days.

Hi Legal Falcon, My GCMS note says my Eligibility Recommended Pass on Jun 12th Criminality is in Progress from Jun 15th. Also there is a mention of No traceable record for Criminality. Medicals Passed Secuirty Not Started Is this something I should be worried about? I have not seen anyone...

But why would it take 3 months for Eligibility to move from 'Recommended Pass' to 'Met'. It is weird.

Well, they are definitely not going to speed up someones application because their status is about to expire / already expired. But I believe they might process application slower when there is a lot of time left on the current work permit.

Does our current work permit validity have an effect on the processing time? I saw my GCMS notes had a mention of my current status and the date of expiry. So do they consider us as low priority if we have some months left on our work permit only take it up for processing when our permit is...

Yes. I am the primary applicant. But when I try to apply for BoWP, there is a question which asks if 'I am the spouse of a person who holds a valid work permit' and if I answer 'Yes' it asks me to submit all my Wife's documents and takes me to the SOWP route and no BOWP questions appear at...
