Yep.. We just have to remain positive and hopeful. They might be a bit overwhelmed too. Yesterday I got an ADR to send an enquiry:D. Its still sitting in my CIC account. I guess I have bothered them so much now they have given me a placeholder to bother them directly:D:D:D.

You are right, I am not sure what algorithm is used to process the files. But I am sure I will be officially pissed off if after not touching my file for almost 8 months then I am asked to pay another almost £1000 pounds for re-medical. That will be totally unfair.

Same here my sister. When I called yesterday, the agent was so uncomfortable to say the words "Not started", the next thing I heard was "anything else I can do for you? Okay bye". In my mind I thought even the agents know the whole process has become ridiculous.

Does anyone have any idea of how to climb out of the Eligibility and Security Not Started hole that was dug by Ottawa CPC?:eek::eek: Will calling every week help?

I think you shouldn't be worried, all your application needs now is for an officer to look at it and pass your Eligibility. Did you get any ghost update when your Eligibility was recommended pass?

You are very correct about Eligibility being concluded in less than an hour. For me that my Eligibility has not started, it makes me wonder the criteria used to choose files that are worked on because unlike security, the processing of Eligibility is all in the hands of IRCC.
