Distance education would anyhow be mentioned in your Degree certificate. In the Application Form they just ask for the Institutions name. Where the entry should be SMU small or Full Form preferably.. I think that should be OK. Incase they have query they will comeback to you.. No need to worry.

Correction.. Based on all threads replies.. You won't get AOR 1 but will get AOR2 mail mentioning they have received the document and is in process..

Usually all accredited universities are UGC or AICTE, in ur case do check IQAS educational guide for Indian education Doc.. Just Google it.. It list all the universities they consider..

Hi, For Masters equivalancy by IQAS for MCA / MBA.. Is it mandatory or do they see whether the degree was completed in its entire timeframe or even less is fine? I had given 2 semesters together so my Distance degree was completed in 2.5 yrs.. Is this OK for them to consider and give masters...

You shouldn't have done that.. SMU is only based in Sikkim and any other details creates further investigation.. Just mention the name as Sikkim Manipal University.. Inside the envope their stamp would have their address.. That's my take.. Others can also comment..

This does not state any year in which SMU was not recognized.. Do you have any other communications from them? It says degree gained from unapproved centre are not recognized.. Did you get transcript / attestation from SMU or the centre where u had enrolled for SMU?? Did the envelope mentioned...

Does your college give you equivalency of Masters to your PGDBM? If yes then IQAS will give you masters equivalent report. Else it will be considered as Diploma. Check with your examination cell or Registrar / Dy

You can then expect to get your report by Dec end or Jan 1st to 2nd week.. Dec end if they want to close all documents before Christmas or else will get further delayed.. Best of Luck

You will have to process ECA separately for you and spouce. Both with have different Reference Num# Spouce ECA will add to your CRS score if ur primarily applicant and vice versa

Mine is a similar case where I got direct entry to 2nd semester of MCA. What are you planning to do? Is there any explanation or letter that need to be provided to IQAS for the lateral entry? Nick
