My MP had contacted IRCC two weeks back. Oath update came in 2 weeks.

Finally I got oath ceremony update. My MP had contacted IRCC 2 weeks back.

Finally! 7 months after decision made, oath ceremony has been scheduled on Feb 24th. January 2020 applicant.

Decision made more than 6 months back. No oath invite yet. Anyone in the same boat? I am January 2020 applicant. Kitchener office. Applied for GCMS notes few months back. No response from IRCC. Contacted MP couple of days back. Hope I will get some response from the MP.

How long is the wait for virtual landing after informing IRCC that parents are already in Canada?

Thanks for the update. My AOR was in August 2020 too. Hopefully I should get my oath ceremony invite soon.

I have completed 4 months and still waiting. Everything except oath is in completed status from July.

My citizenship application has been in decision made status since July 20th. It is now more than 3 months and no sign of oath invite. Is there any way to prompt IRCC to look at my file and send me an oath invite?

Job offer not needed since it is a OPEN work permit (not tied to a specific employer). I hope your W1 visa on your passport is still valid. You can enter Canada without any issues. No idea on AVR and American rules. EDIT: I was on open work permit few years back

I am not going anywhere. Really happy in Canada. I was just commenting on the content of that 2016 thread. And yes I too think IRCC would not allow urgent processing based on a foreign job offer.
