    Thanks. No I didn't import them, I got it back to US. Typically it's cheaper and efficient to just sell the car in US and buy one in Canada (unless you have a recently bought new car in US then its a different case)

    You are applied for and are going as a permanent resident (settler). They don't know what is soft landing. So make sure you don't use the soft landing word in front of them.

    1. Yes, you should add EVERYTHING that you are planning to take with you when you settle later on under GTF (including your car).     If I am taking my laptop, phone and car with me for soft landing but I will be bring it back to US when I come back and then finally they will be imported to Canada when i move. In this case, should the items be listed under 'Good accompanying' or 'goods to follow'?
