The agent said that they hadn’t received my photos resubmission yet only because they hadn’t started processing my date. Is that normal? Or do they normally have information stating that the photos have arrived?

Landed Aug 28th. Request for new photos Jan 14, 2019. Had to get an MP involved to get an answer, and that answer was photo rejection. It will probably take 7 months in total IF the photos are not rejected for a second time. Insane.
