I took the oath on Friday the 29th - Ecas turned to Complete Saturday morning. Applied for passport Monday and picked it up yesterday. No issues at all.

Even though the invitation specifically asks for it - in my case, they only checked (and took away) your PR when checking you in for the ceremony. From everything I have read on this forum that seems to be standard. Definitely still carry it, as they are well within their rights to ask for it...

Just an update - I had my ECAS move to "Complete" on March 30th which was Saturday, one day after taking the Oath on Friday the 29th. Applied for my Passport yesterday and will pick it up tomorrow morning. Had applied for Express as I will be traveling next week. Pretty smooth process overall.

Even though the answer in the book is not the actual current answer you are expected to answer it per the book. I asked my interviewer about it after my test about it and he said that the scantron that checks the test does it per the book even if the information is old.

Yes - Just print the email or you can even show it on your phone. They don't do the physical mail anymore.

Vancouver seems to be moving finally. Got my Oath invitation a couple of days ago for March 29. Had my test on Feb 12. So only 3 weeks between the two! So should be good news for everyone soon!
