The stats can be asked from CIC under a Freedom of Information request. We get stats for a forecasting work and ask for specific details and have pay for the specifics, otherwise the details are free. Go to Citizenship Canada and file an Information request. Sometimes they will be posted in...

The ethnicity factor is decided by the number of applications received per location and their ethnicity mix.If a lot of Indians and Chinese are applying from a city and there is someone from Poland, the Poland applicant will get priority in Oath (not in the processing). See this article and...

Do not get worried. You will get it very soon. I am 100% sure that your oath has been scheduled late February/early March and the notification is pending. It is just a matter of time.

From what I have read, the scheduling for oath happens much before the status shows as DM. If status shows as DM, it usually means all clear. I also know that 48 hours before the oath, any interim conviction or capital crime arrests of those on oath list have to be reported to CIC. The...

NO, the order is not random. The scheduling officer (s) in Sydney process the oaths as per some criteria (not publically known). However, this is my guess based on talking to a distant family member who was a citizenship judge before he retired 7 years ago. Applications are scheduled for oath in...

There is no WAY that IRCC has your file and they have not opened it. If they do not want to give you citizenship, they will just deny the application. IRCC has lost your file and probably some other files and someone is trying to cover their back. Whosoever lost your file is hoping that you will...

Okie ...do call CIC as if they give you oath by mistake, they will revoke it in case there is an audit. As you did not get any letter, it is most likely a system mistake. Call CIC number and redial 5-6 times in a row till they connect you to an agent.

No, you cannot. You wife needs to complete the number of days 1099 in Canada since she became PR. Given the fact that she became PR 4 months, there is no way that she is eligible.

How old are you ? If you are above 54 years or age, you do not have to take the test Please can you check your SPAM folder for any emails from IRCC. It is very likely that there is an email sitting in your junk or spam folder. If it is not, please approach CIC agent through the call centre and...

Call CIC agent and check, usually for minors the file is processed together. It is possible that they have not updated the file status online.

It should come in pretty soon. Even if they process family files together each file is processed independently. Hopefully by early next you will see decision made on your son's file also

Not sure but it seems that the Eligibility Prohibition was a name match that triggered an FP request. Now that it has been completed, it all seems fine.

After you sign the form the CIC agent gives you and they make notes on a paper about you , check your stamps etc, then your file goes back to the agent who processed your application. They then process is in the order they receive the files. It can take anywhere from 1 day to 60 days to update...
