Hey mate. I am from India. Well to be honest there is nothing like Ip1 or Ip2. The so called last stage or Ip2 is when your background check is in progress.

Hey mate, yes my status changed on 6th Dec to Ip2. My AOR is 4th Sept. It took over 65 days or so for my status to change. I have been following the trend on immi tracker and can clearly see that it takes time for status to change. Hope it clears your doubts.

My AOR is 5th Sept My IP2 changed on 7th Dec. It looks unlikely that anything will happen during Christmas, as it's a shutdown at that time. Have you asked your lawyer as what exactly happens at the last stage, that is the background check.

I am at same stage. Seems like it can come anytime from 1 day to a month or so. That has been a general trend. This is the last stage of the process. Security check happens at this stage.

Exactly. Just saw the progress bar. It does not show any process time. Just simply calculates 6 months from AOR. Should have provided more information as to when they are actually planning to complete the file.
