I got my SA just now but it says that my husband's application is still processing. They requested proof of cohabitation two days ago so I imagine that is why it is still being processed. Is this normal? Our application was received on May 14th.

I got a request letter for proof of cohabitation and they have started reviewing my eligibility today.

Thanks! No updates yet. Hoping that by maybe next week I will hear something.

I'm not sure if this was answered already but how do we know when our application is transferred to the BC or even the etobicoke office?

Just to add to this, you can enter Canada without it by applying for a permanent resident travel document.

Hi guys. Has anyone else noticed that the message for the background check section changed to 'We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.' There was also a request for criminal record check from RCMP at the same time.
