I don’t think you should sign it if it was wrong. Did you hear back from them? I am on the same boat for my kid, where the first name is mistyped in the COPR and need to file for amendment now.

Eligibility yes. But for kids younger than a certain age they don’t do background checks.

Not aware of any tracking sheet for child sponsorship applications. My inland application was received on Aug 19 2021 and I received AOR on Sep 9th 2021. No updates since. Not sure if the Afghan situation is delaying the processing of applications now.

Yeah, once you cross SA and medicals, the processing time is all based on luck and which VO your application ends up at.
