    Once I got them in a sealed envelope, I send them myself along with the other documents they ask for. It took an additional explanation, but at the end they were ok with that and got the ECA.

    Under work history, I did put the location where I physically worked from all the time (outside the US), otherwise they'd ask you for the police certificates from the US.

    For those curious, I did get an ECA from WES equivalent to a 4 years Bachelor's Degree. They doubted, but after I explained my situation in detail (and provided proof) they moved forward with it.
