    ***MAY 2018*** INLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

Yeah, it's not an interview in any meaningful sense. They ask 4 questions, get you to sign two forms, and that's it. Was in and out in 10 minutes.

I'm British - been in Canada since I was 18, so I likely had a quicker background check than most too.

2018 Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications: timeline and updates

Hello everyone, Received the Approval of Permanent Residence form yesterday (May 14th applicant - Mississauga office). I'm in Atlantic Canada, so there's no interview appointment required - we get to just head straight to the IRCC office when it's open and "land", which is fantastic! Good luck...

    ***MAY 2018*** INLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

That was exactly what was happening for me. Once they sent me and my wife the APR letter (or DM letter - whatever it's called), ECAS updates to reflect that. We got ours yesterday, and my app was submitted May 14 so I'm sure it's close for you!

    ***MAY 2018*** INLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

Hey folks! Just received the DM letter yesterday, and I guess because I'm in Atlantic Canada, there's no appointment necessary. I think that the combination of the fact that I've been in Canada since I was 18, as well as the fact that I'm in Atlantic Canada (which desperately needs immigrants)...

Also, is it normal to receive SA/AIP and have ECAS say DM but click through and have no update? Seems odd to me.

Yeah I was surprised by how quickly it's come through - just waiting for my DM letter now and then landing! (Though I understand that not everyone receives the DM letter).

Thanks so much for the info! That's good news. At this point, it's highly unlikely that anything goes off the rails, I presume? Crossing fingers that the DM letter comes soon if it comes at all.

    ***MAY 2018*** INLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

Hello everyone, May 14 applicant. My wife received SA on February 1st, we have DM on both sides on ECAS (though no updates once we click through), and I have AIP. Is there anything left for us to receive before the landing letter? It's so exciting to see everyone getting success with their...

2018 Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications: timeline and updates

Hi folks, May 14 applicant here (check signature): Received SA on February 1st - is that the last step before landing? I have DM on both sides as well, but no update apart from that in ECAS. Good luck everyone!

    ***MAY 2018*** INLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

May 14th application (Mississauga office) - got DM on both sides on ECAS today! Does that mean that SA has already been completed? Will we receive any other correspondence or will it just be the landing interview? Good luck to everyone!

2018 Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications: timeline and updates

So I think my wife just received the AOR (that's the email where they tell you your application is in process, correct?) - but we're still having trouble linking the application. We know that it is now in process due to CIC's other tool, but I'm now frozen out of the linkage process. I know...
