Hello everyone, Received the Approval of Permanent Residence form yesterday (May 14th applicant - Mississauga office). I'm in Atlantic Canada, so there's no interview appointment required - we get to just head straight to the IRCC office when it's open and "land", which is fantastic! Good luck...

That was exactly what was happening for me. Once they sent me and my wife the APR letter (or DM letter - whatever it's called), ECAS updates to reflect that. We got ours yesterday, and my app was submitted May 14 so I'm sure it's close for you!

Hey folks! Just received the DM letter yesterday, and I guess because I'm in Atlantic Canada, there's no appointment necessary. I think that the combination of the fact that I've been in Canada since I was 18, as well as the fact that I'm in Atlantic Canada (which desperately needs immigrants)...

Also, is it normal to receive SA/AIP and have ECAS say DM but click through and have no update? Seems odd to me.

Yeah I was surprised by how quickly it's come through - just waiting for my DM letter now and then landing! (Though I understand that not everyone receives the DM letter).

Thanks so much for the info! That's good news. At this point, it's highly unlikely that anything goes off the rails, I presume? Crossing fingers that the DM letter comes soon if it comes at all.
