The decisive thing: Do you have the letter from the school showing that you have to enter Canada for a good reason.

SP issued before 18/3 ... ask IRCC for the exemption letter you still need to show that to airline and local CA officer

Recently, SP holders who received their approval BEFORE March 18 is not allowed to board. They are even holding the exemption letter from IRCC. The airline said it is CBSA who deny us to board.

ircc listed clearly: school fee + CAD 10000/per year You need the approval letter from your wife to show that you can use all her money for this trip.

Should I include a Letter of Explanation when submitting SOWP (outland) ? I am not sure if it is a good idea to solve the puzzle before refusal, like: explain the fund (self-finance OR sponsored by spouse - the SP holder) and talk about home ties and future plan I know some didn't explain...

Thank you for the prompt reply. Even if they got refused. I can still get my SP on the border (no negative effect from their refusal)? What about the future inland apply for SOWP? Refusal could leave a bad record? If nothing to lose, then I would like to try.
