Passport submitted-17th sept. Status changed to approved -26th sept. Got msg to collect passports-27th sept Collected - 30th sept from CHANDIGARH

Yes it is not mandatory to take all the money in one shot but u will have to give them all the evidence while u land that u still have some money or belongings which r still left behind and u want to take them along in the next visit or by online transfer.. u need to declare them while landing...

L next step might b liquidating all ur money being tied from long time n have some fun shopping

I got my account updated yesterday (passports were also dispatched yesterday by new delhi visa office) saying that my file status has changed to approved .. but got an email from ircc today saying my account has been updated ...

I submitted my passport on 17th sept. , reached LVO on 18 th sept. And got a message today to collect them as they have been processed

Hi guys ... Submitted my passport today.. wasn’t a big hassle other then a waiting time of 2 hours in chandigarh.. Would like to tell that consent forms r not mandatory for PR passport submissions.. they just clarified me that high commission doesn’t demand that and also it was not even...

M going to submit passports tomorrow.. will update soon on this .. however, it is a bit confusing one ..

Thanks... i am taking three sets of consent form .. one signed by wife for her ., another signed by us both for my son , and another empty if something goes wrong... coz we both were asked to sign consent column for kids while applying the gcms notes.. so I think the same will be the procedure..
