For me, it took 2 weeks. I'd wait about 2 weeks and if you don't get anything send the webform again.

@laxsun Update: Email to confirm presence in Canada and for portal credentials received Aug 8th, email with portal link received August 15th.

I got the passport request July 25th, and August 8th I got instructions to confirm location/email so they can set up my mom's portal account. Still waiting for that next step :)

I'm in the same situation as you now, but I got the PPR letter 1.5 weeks ago. Waiting for the darn virtual landing link, when will it come? :D

Mexico City originally, now in Vancouver. I had not informed them before that my mom was here, but in the doc they sent me they said to inform via webform so she could do virtual landing. Now I'm waiting for instructions on how to do that. Hopefully soon.

From Vancouver. Her file was in Mexico City but transferred to Vancouver sometime this year.

Oh, interesting. Mine says If you are currently in Canada, you are not required to submit your passport and will be landed virtually. Please advise our office via webform within 5 days of receipt of this letter if you and/or any of your dependents are in Canada.

I haven't seen an answer to this yet, @muzmil. I haven't updated yet, but maybe I should? Impossible to get an answer from them since no agents are ever available. I'm hoping that because the medicals were obviously done in Canada, that they'll figure out she's here visiting, but who knows. :(

I'm wondering this, also. My mother just got her pre-arrival letter and medical request a few weeks ago. The mailing address is in Canada but her regular address is in Brazil, and she's currently here in Canada waiting for it all to conclude. Should I change her address or will this only...

I am also in the same situation as you guys, waiting for police checks/medical for my mother. They received my file in May 2020. I did write to them asking for an update in Oct 2021 but have not heard back. I wonder if they are even open now, considering the spread of Omicron? It's so...

I think I read on this forum that it had happened to someone else, so I decided to check with the Mexico office. They replied and said they had not received it!
