I had my test on 12 MAY so score will be declare after 13 days of exam as result will come around 25th MAY. Also i had given my test in US (Tampa) location.

As per my understanding its totally optional. your spouse dont need to take the language test necessarily. but yes if you want to boost up your total score than you can think of ,for the same.
