Considering how CA has been issuing 20% more ITAs than the target for past two years, they need to hold 4 back to back draws if the draw size remains at 3350 or increase it to 3800 ITAs per draw per every two weeks (with one back to back) to meet their target (81,400 x 1.2 ≃ 97000)

Average intake between 3rd January to 25th January (22 days) for scores 441 and above has been 262 per day. Last year with 2750 ITAs, cutoff was maintained at around 440, so with 3350 ITAs it will certainly be lower than 443 at least. I am expecting 439-440.

I know the draws have been frequent and comparatively large but I feel that rate of intakes has slowed down a little as well. From 300 a day in previous year to roughly 220-230 (just a guess based on approximate remaining number of candidates between 438-440) nowadays?

Created my profile February last year on 438. Deleted it and recreated it earlier this month when CRS was 449 thinking it wouldn't go down again and at least I'll have a chance with OINP. Now it's at 438. With tie break in April. Fml. Worst luck (or maybe haste cost me) ever lol

Follow up. Cut off date refers to profile creation date so you should get an ITA.

Yes, you can do all the above mentioned activities but you won't get a work permit on a tourist visa. You have to go back and apply for the permit. And as far as PR is concerned, you can apply from anywhere provided that you can arrange documents relating to your travels.
