Does simply having a flight booked constitute sufficient grounds for urgent processing of a PR card?

hi there, Has anyone recently applied for a renewal of their PR card? If so, how long did it take to arrive from the time you mailed it? I’m travelling at the end of the month. IRCC states a 27 day time but I know it may be sooner and want to gage this by others’ experience.
