Hi everybody ! I'm April 10th applicant, got DM on March 4th, and today the landing letter for April 1th...almost 12 months! I'm following the threads daily and HONESTLY I pray to God that you guys get thidone with asappppppp because the waiting period is a TORTURE!

I'm an April 10th applicant, and I still haven't got anything yet! They gave me such a hard time saying that I had to prove AGAIN, with an updated letter from the army, stating that I was really NOT in the military service... ( they didn't belive me I guess) Haha It's just impossible to figure...

Hopefully they won't ask for it, they don't do that anyways, cause it's impossible to get an updated military record if you never had to serve the military right haha... But if it happens just go to the consulate! Good luck!

That was a nightmareeee lol, they requested something that does not exist haha So I went to the Brazilian consulate and had to speak with the vice consul (very hard to to do that), then after a few days they wrote an official letter and stamps from the Brazilian government explaining the same...

I have a question about the interview... Do they give us the PR card right after they finish the interview or theres something else after it to actually get the PR card ? I'm still waiting for the interview email, but I'm trying to plan a vacation :)

I just finished talking at the Brazilian consulate here in Toronto, they have never everrrr heard anything like that and can only make my a second military card if lost the original one, but I have already sent to the immigration that card ... I'm just waiting for my representative to call me...

I'm in Toronto, but my family just went there in Brazil and explained everything, but unfortunately they couldn't help they said that there's not such a document and can't make any kind of letter because I was never in the military... I'm totally desperated and my representative doesn't know...
