Not yet, hopefully i get my test invitation soon. I assume that CIC will resume processing of my application once they get the fingerprint results. Which could takes up to 2 weeks to 1 month. After that i'll be asked to do the test/interview.

I got fingerprint request, after 18 months in process. My file was stuck in Mississauga with no progress and now it's in Scarborough!

Maybe they just throw my file in mississauga office and they wouldn't transfer it. It's up to them.

Im September 2017 applicants. Still in process. Almost, 1 year 3 months. I called their call center and representative said office is busy and that my application consider routine. However, i don't know if they talk about facts or just myths.

I'm thinking to get free service from an immgration lawyer at Mississauga Community Legal Services or my College legal services.

Nothing is clear. Non-routine applicants could take up to 3 years. And they are not letting people know if their applications is routine or non-routine.

Sometimes it's nothing to do with security clearance. For instance, they told my dad 3 months ago that his application checks were done and he should wait for the test/interview. However, his application passed the 1 year deadline now with no invitation.

My application is over 12 months. They sent a notification to my local office to speed it up. However, they told me that I should call them back if i dont hear anything by December! This is like 15 months. 12 months is not a deadline and no one really care if applications past 12 months...
