Yesterday, after 15 MONTHS of processing, we FINALLY got the VISA letter !!!!!!!! Mexico is finally starting to catch up on the 2018 files!! (applied July 2018)

same.. i received the pre-arrival email almost 3 months ago and yet - still NO VISA o_O (currently almost 15 months in process)

my husband's ECAS still says in process... pre-arrival email came on July 20th I e-mailed mexico on Sept.13.. they responded Oct 3rd.. saying its still in process, no further actions required, blah blah blah.. basically saying stop bothering us haha

I know right ! No red flags to think of. 34 and 35 years old. Together 3 years. First marriage for both .. I think part of the delay is because we got caught up in the Havana closure and files being transferred to Mexico But it’s been almost 3 months since receiving the Pre-Arrival email...

SAME! got the pre-arrival on July 20... still no Visa waiting for 14 months almost now :(

I'm at almost 14 months now.. still no Visa.. Mexico VO handles a lot.. and can be quite slow :confused:

The even weirder part - my husband's police record did not expire until October 2019 o_O When did you first apply? I am a July 2018 applicant.. stilllllllllllllll waiting haha

yes they did.. On July 5th, I got the first e-mail from Mexico.. In that email was the AOR AND the request for a new Police Certificate

for me, its been 37 days since the pre-arrival email.. still no PPR :(

I am a July 2018 applicant.. still waiting.. of course every application/situation is different.. but it seems that *most* 2018 applicants are taking the full year or longer :(

I'm just gonna jump in here.. I am a JULY 2018 applicant, and my file *just* got to Mexico on July 5th.. so ya i'm about to hit the 1 year mark, still no visa.. just putting that out there lol o_O

Hi All! Just out of curiosity - for those who have recently sent their passport to Mexico VO to get the visa issued - how long did it take for you to receive the passport back? I am not quite at this stage yet (July 2018 applicant).. but i was just hoping for some info :)

it depends on which country the Applicant is from? Mexico visa office does processing for about 13 Caribbean countries
