Another update this morning!!! Every requirement now updated to completed including eligibility & BC. COPR document & number also received. PPR coming soon hopefully!

Received pre-arrival letter this morning. May 5, 2022 outbound applicant. Eligibility still in progress and background verification not started. Hopefully this is a good sign towards PPR & COPR

Looks like a bunch of us got ghost updates yesterday..also got ghost update but no change from previous eligibility update

Got update on profile today that eligibility status has been updated to “in progress” on February 6 but “in progress” status has been on tracker since February 1. Now I’m confused as to what this means. Maybe it’ll be be completed by end of week✌

They asked for a couple documents: sponsor’s past T4 statements, current letter of employment, and proof of communication between sponsor & PA. It was a bit strange that they asked for all these docs again as we sent them with the application

Yeah there was a system update and format is a lil bit different. I got update for eligibility in progress as they requested for additional docs on Jan 5 and confirmed receipt of docs on Jan 18 so hopefully that is cleared off ASAP. Eligibility started dec 7…we have similar timeline friend..I...

Do you mean it's common for spouse to be representative or for an application to be rejected because spouse is the PA's representative?

Is it possible to send a copy of the letter here or just post what the letter says, maybe me or someone on here can then be of help because from my understanding and what I just saw on the official website after checking, a spouse can be a representative. So it is possible you missed...

I'm guessing this person missed something or didn't use proper signature because i checked other posts he/she made and written name was used as signature instead of normal/regular signature. I'm waiting for the person to respond to share more so we know what happened

Quick question here..on the form IMM 5476, it is okay for the spouse to be the representative right? I saw this question posted on another thread as someone's application got rejected because of the representative form but I don't think its because the spouse was the representative
