Hey @SriTLIN Congrats!! thanks for sharing in detail, i also have VSD (Ventricular Septal Defect) which was 'fixed' when i was a baby but with the remaining medical history of mine, medical officers (as well as panel physician) did not care at all :D Anyways, so happy for you, hope to hear good...

I also did the same thing and received a generic mail saying that this email is not used for such enquiries anymore. It directs you to website where the choices are limited. And i also came across to similar situations that people had in the forum. May i ask when did you send the email and how...

Using foreign PhD as work experience

Hello all, I have a similar question that I would love to get your opinions. I came to US as J1 research scholar to have my PhD in 2016. But the program is relatively new and not accredited. So we are not called students but called "employees". I did my application based on this "work...

    Medical inadmissibility rules changes

Also, I have some good news about my own case. On May 15 (yesterday), my medicals have been changed to "we are reviewing your medical exam results". It was a very uncommon status so I was pretty worried that they are going to refuse me or will ask additional tests etc. ~20 min ago, I received...

    Medical inadmissibility rules changes

Hi, actually we all have the same question (and necessity to calm our nerves). but in my opinion (and based on the news that other members shared in this thread), new rules are in effective. Although each case is different, i suggest you to apply and get in to the process as soon as possible.

    US-based applicants, let's connect here

I went to the one in St Louis on April 30. I made the appointment on April 25, so there is a good chance that they are not fully booked. But panel physician works only on Mondays and Fridays. He is very good, reaches you via email before you go to exam and sends you every detail to prevent any...

    Medical inadmissibility rules changes

If i understand correctly, then this is the answer; you will not upload your medical report. Panel physician will give you 1-2 pages of report with no medical info on it, just to confirm that you went to the physician. This is the only thing you are going to upload. Then, after all your tests...

    Medical inadmissibility rules changes

my oncologist sent the notes directly to him, i did not see what she sent. but i asked her to include her prognosis, because this was what panel physician asked for in addition to notes. panel physician just told me that she sent a detailed report about my situation.

    Medical inadmissibility rules changes

Hi @Outworld . I am no expert or senior in this forum. But i would suggest try to gather as many documents as you can. Panel physician will create his own report (i dont know if they put any subjective opinion in that) but they will definitely ask for your routine physician’s notes, that is what...

    Medical inadmissibility rules changes

Thanks for the input @SriTLIN! My panel physician requested a prospective opinion from my oncologist (although i did not see what she sent to him). Last night my medical report was done, appearently when the panel physician tried to upload my result, they requested another blood work and he was...
