Yes, please can other people confirm that they are not gonna check our bank accounts? Kinda scary, lol!

    Should I mention my boyfriend?

Yes it's weird, isn't it? Anyway, as long as there's nothing official I guess it's fine!

    Should I mention my boyfriend?

OK thanks. Yeah we will wait until I get PR for sure.

    Should I mention my boyfriend?

OK thanks. I have a lot of points and got ITA via Express Entry for FSW, so I don't need to mention him, but I was just wondering if they would want to know. I don't want to misrepresent anything; the reason that I'm coming to Canada is him. But at the same time, I'm applying for myself only.

    Should I mention my boyfriend?

Hi everyone, I'm filling out my PR application after getting ITA. I am not going to say anything about a common-law partner because I have not been with my boyfriend long enough. He's a PR in Canada since last year. Should I mention him anywhere on my application? In the LoE? I'm going to visit...

Going to Canada as a tourist and completing EE after ITA there?

Ah yes I see, thanks. I got my ITA yesterday. So if I submit it and all goes well and fast, I'll be in Canada when they ask for my passport. I don't suppose any express mail courier service will help...

Going to Canada as a tourist and completing EE after ITA there?

Yes not too bad! They refuse to go into a lot of personal detail, but they do try to answer, eventually. It's @CitImmCanada.

Going to Canada as a tourist and completing EE after ITA there?

OK, thanks a lot for sharing your information in any case! I will just ask them for advice I think. They usually answer quite fast on Twitter. Let's first get my ITA and all of my documents ready for submission :) Thanks!

Going to Canada as a tourist and completing EE after ITA there?

Thank you so much for your response! Yes I have my company here, my home address, my insurance... So am definitely living here in The Netherlands. I might wait to submit my application, unless I could send my passport through express courier? Thanks in any case!

Going to Canada as a tourist and completing EE after ITA there?

Hi everyone, I will probably get ITA this coming Wednesday. I also have a flight booked to Canada on June 10, to visit my partner, i.e. as a tourist (I have a Dutch passport and I got an ETA). I have a return flight in September. If I receive ITA this Wednesday and submit my application...

Claiming more than 3 years work experience

Thanks, but I was aware of that :) My question though was if it's better or easier to do that? I can easily get the letters for 6 years, so should I do that, or is it wiser to give them less work and claim only the 4 years or 5 years?

Claiming more than 3 years work experience

If I change it to 4 years I don't get under 67 points for sure.

Claiming more than 3 years work experience

I wrote 4-5 years in the selection tool.

Claiming more than 3 years work experience

Oh I am eligible, that's not the issue. The issue is, should I claim 4 or 6 years of work experience, even though it does not make a difference in points?

Claiming more than 3 years work experience

I mean, given that I already have 3+ years work experience, does it make sense to include 6 years or should I just claim points based on the 4-year job? I'm not gonna get extra points for the others, right?

Claiming more than 3 years work experience

In terms of provincial nominee programs? All jobs fall in the right 0, A or B categories.

Using foreign PhD as work experience

Thanks a lot! And sorry for my late response. If anyone has any example reference letters that they can share, I'd love to receive them!
