Sure, I hope you get DM and PPR soon. I passed Medicals in April and got DM in January but I haven’t been sent PPR yet. I’m keeping fingers crossed too that it will come to an end soon. All the best.

Yeah, an agent told me so. That GCMS requests delay the processing. I’ve never requested since then.

Might not be rejection. I read from another post that it goes back to in process if your medical has expired and are to ask you to do it again. I’m not sure about it - just read it somewhere. When is/was your medical to expire?

That’s what I said. That they’ll indicate the nearest visa office that you’ll send your passport to. If they know your nearest office then they obviously know your location. Glad you received your PPR already.

You don’t have to email them. They already know you aren’t in Canada. The PPR will state clearly the Visa Office you’re supposed to send your passport to.

Me - August 28, 2017 applicant. Got DM Jan 3, 2019. I’m an outland applicant though my application was processed by CIO Sydney, Nova Scotia. My application largely followed that of the inland guys. So I don’t know if they’ll be kind enough to issue me with a PPR soon.

Your dates are almost like mine. MR on March 22, 2018 and DM on January 3, 2019 and no PPR yet. The only difference is my application turned 17 months on Monday January 28, 2019. The clock is ticking away but fingers crossed for this Friday.

An IRCC Representative once told me though it’s an applicant’s right to order for GCMS notes, any time an applicant does so their file is removed from the officer processing so that the GCMS team can work on it and that ends up delaying it more. I don’t know if that’s the case but I’m just...
