Hi Haider, I eventually accepted the ITA in the middle of June, when I actually completed 3 years according to my calculation, and I did not have any issues with it later.

Hey, I have already landed with the renewed passport along with the old one with the visa. There was no issue. Good luck.

Posting this update in case someone else is in similar situation. I spoke to another CIC agent today, she also said I am fine carrying the new passport, old passport with visa and COPR document while landing. The information the previous agent sent about TRV also applies in this case...

Thank you for your reply, same feeling here, have been using my US student visa in my expired passport for several years. But this being a single entry PR visa in a different country, not so confident. Which is why I am looking for someone's experience in Canada. I will probably call CIC again soon.

I got one on those yesterday after seeing IP2 change 3 hours before that. Hence my nonstop email refresh this whole day.

Finally moved to IP2 today. Did not get any email, saw the update in profile. :)

Not exactly same but 2 boats behind you, July 21st AOR, July 6th IP1 and stuck there since.

I think "Confirmation of Permanent Residence documents" is most likely the COPR, which will be generated once they receive your passport and other documents. Lets see what others say.

Don't worry too much, people who got AOR on 1st-2nd week of June have started receiving their updates, including PPR for some. They were waiting for more than 3 months without any update as well. Eventually things will start moving for other June AOR people, maybe by the end of October or...

I have not spoken to the banks yet, but was thinking if they will allow me to keep the bank accounts open without me being here, I mean without any valid US address. Once I have more info on this , I will update here in case someone else is also looking for it.
