Background check global?? Do they not do all the checks before the citizenship test/interview? To be, this doesn't make sense to call an applicant for a test while the backgrounds check are underway!!! I can understand you frustration!

Hi, I just had an test and interview in Calgary today and I was told that they are sending oath invites for July and August just now. May be you will get in couple of days! Good luck!

Hi! Does anyone know what to look for in an ATIP/AIPRP report? I have got this 28 page document and not sure what to look for? My test is on June 11 2018 and I want to know if my security clearance/backgrounds checks are complete? Thanks and any help in this regard is much appreciated!

Hi, My understanding was that an applicant gets a test invite and interview ONLY after all the backgrounds checks are cleared.. To me it makes no sense to call a person for a test or an interview before BG are complete.. This is the new thing I learnt on this forum that BG continues even after...

Btw it doesn't really matter whatever comes- mail or email.. I hope it comes early!!!

I am from Calgary...IP since Jan 27 and no updates!!! Called CIC and was told background checks underway.. It's very frustrating but nothing much we can do!

Hang in there, friend.. We will eventually get to the end of this tunnel.. For some, tunnel was short for some it is long... The key here is not to loose patience! Have a great weekend!
