Yes. I did that. They will first entertain those who have appointment and in between if no one is there then walk ins will be allowed. There can be a very long queue for walk in so better reach early.

Oh, I see what you mean. Yeah, she is not moving permanently with me. After say 1 or 2 months, the plan is that she will move back to India. It is more like a visit only.

I heard about this that they can do that. But did not happen in my case. I think it will just add couple of days to your case.
