Same here, similar timeline and stuck at B.C. completed . No movement since early March for me too (family paper applicant)

Unusual but it may work. There's no provision to prohibit anyone from withdrawing and reapplying. But the problem is that even majority of paper applicants including myself are stuck at Background Check Complete. So who knows? This new IRCC minister has messed up.

T The MPs only follow up. They don't push. I asked my MP to ask IRCC to expedite because of my valid reasons, he said if you provide me the reason for expediting , I can ask them. Not sure if I should provide him my reason, it's too much of privacy to give up.

No more, even UP requests should be approved twice, and it takes forever to even approve in the first place. even if they approve at Sydney, the local office doesn't give a sh..t about UP anymore. They're swamped with Ukranian refugees .

It's much more productive to take IRCC to court than a class action. Class action is applicable only to cases where there is monetary rewards

I sent an Urgent processing request since I am applying at a university in the US. I sent 2 webforms 3 weeks apart. They responded to the first one that it is in progress and no further action is taken. and for the second one they said it's reviewed and sent to the office. Today the agent said...

She said Urgent Processing request not approved? They need to transfer people from other useless ministries such as Environment and put them to work . So much tax is wasted for our government employees.

IRCC under this new minister is messed up badly. Previously when a request was approved, you would receive the email. But now they send the email ( Your request has been forwarded to etc...) just because. It does not mean it is approved .

So I called IRCC today, all I can say is that it's a pile of mess under this new minister

Exactly, we've already been checked... they only have to check if we have filed our taxes, which takes 10 minutes, check our language which is either PASS or NO PASS ... 10 minutes... police and criminality check is online 10 minutes... and the physical presence which they just go over the...

The problem with IRCC is resource allocation. They give study and temporary visa in 1 month, but for PR or citizenship application 2 years ...ridiculous
