We are May7th 2018 applicants. We received AIP/SA in January and only got DM on PA side last week (after completing 13 months).

Hi everyone, we got the e-mail from the montreal office yesterday and landed today :) Now waiting for the PR card :) We were told 6-8 weeks to receive the card, but on CIC website they actually say 13 days right now. Does anyone know which one is right and what to expect? Thanks and good luck...

The same happened to us (and a few other people). We are from early May 2018. We got SA/DM and AIP in January and then only got DM on PA side this week. They were telling us the same thing on the phone, even after we exceeded 12 months.

Not really, they kept telling us the same thing since end of January and the only extra info that some agents would give us was that nothing looked worrisome (even after we exceeded 12 months). We finally seem to have DM on PA side on ECAS, but still waiting for a letter. We really hope you...

We only have AIP, SA and sponsor's DM (since January). PA side still in process, but when we call them, they say everything is finished and that our file is just waiting for final review (?), which supposedly is the very last step before DM. The problem is that they are saying the same thing...

Member of parliament. Apparently they can help to find out the status of overdue applications with more details and faster than we can usually achieve on our own. But I'm not sure if they have any additional influence in the outcome.

No, we did not. Does it usually accelerate anything or it's just for obtaining more information? Can an MP get the same type of information as in the notes?

Unfortunately not. We called CIC a few days after reaching 12 months and they said the same thing as in January (only final DM missing, everything else done). Our file has not been transferred anywhere either.

We already reached 12 months. I hope it doesn't take too long, since in January the agent also said our file was completed, just DM missing. We don't know why it's taking so long in this very last step.

Do you know if there are many April (or earlier) applicants still waiting? We are May and already 12 months, so we would like to have an idea if we should expect too much of a delay.

Some people get it in a couple of days. On the other hand, we got AIP, SA and DM on sponsor side around Jan 24th. No news since then, PA still in process. We are May applicants from Montreal.
