Question, for OCI or even surrender applications, is it a requirement that the marriage certificate is to be attested by Indian Consulate if marriage was performed and registered in Ontario?

Update on Nov 5: Scheduled for citizenship test between Nov 11 - Dec 1. NO email yet which I feel should arrive in couple of days.

I must admit, I do not recollect the absolute answer to that. I *think* I went ahead with No. Although, upon checking my physical presence calculator , I do have those dates under the Absence section. Sorry about me not being able to give you a definite answer.

Same boat, tried once for past few days, no success. I read somewhere that people received another email saying "application has been linked etc" [unsure, don't remember it correctly] email after which we should be able to successfully track our application.

Thanks you very much ! I actually went ahead with date left usa as oct 31 since there is no exit stamp but there is an arrival stamp for my Indian arrival on Nov 1st. Its alright, I will actually explain this in details in my LOE.

Thanks for your response. Are you sure ? I just double checked, when applying online, in the addresses and police certificates section, I need to provide the exact date. Wish there was an easy way for me to upload a photo instead of a url.
