    Has anyone called CIC recently...their automated msg now says applications will be processed within 10 months. before it used to say 12 months that's a good sign I guess.

    I suggest writing a letter to LVO explaining your case. I have heard some members do that when they apply.

    It should be the person that performed the marriage ceremony by reciting the vows and such. I believe their name goes on the marriage papers as well.
