They calculate 5 years back from the day you sign your application and your online calculator form. its up to you to update the actual dates in the citizenship form.

If your Test/Interview is in Vancouver then your Physical file is there(Containing your application and documents) ,which means you are being processed in Vancouver :)

Not 100% correct. If he/she got AOR he/she also got a case number. So getting an AOR for a previously submitted app will also require a yes(one step before in process).
