I took the oath yesterday at Scarborough. Guests were in the same room as us. They were lined up against 3 walls i believe.

Took my oath yesterday. Status changed to complete today, though I didnt check yesterday so who knows. This was in Scarborough, 8.30am, July 18. I couldnt find parking downstairs so I went to the mall but the gates were closed so I found a side street to park and had to walk about 3-4 minutes...

Anyone know if they allow your children to attend the oath ceremony with you? I have a 5 year and a 5 month old that I have to bring with me since my wife and I both are taking oath. So far I've heard they're allowed to be with us but if they make any noise they will ask us to leave the hall.

Got the ECAS update today as well. Also weirdly says notice on June 21, 2018 even though I got the email yesterday.

Just got my oath invite. The wait is over. July 18th, 830 AM in Scarborough. Relief! I guess they sent out a batch of invites today. Seeing lots of people with July 17th,18th.

I'm noticing the pattern that Oct '17 people who gave test+interview in Jan are not getting oath dates. Out of 38 who have oath dates only 3 gave test in Jan. I'm in the unlucky Jan test date category. Most of the oath dates going to people who gave tests in Feb, Mar, Apr and even May!

Looking at the spreadsheet for Scarborough I only see 1-2 entries without oath dates in August and September tabs. Only 5 entries with oath dates in October. Does this mean most Aug Sep applications are done and all us October applicants are getting invites soon?

Ah okay. Yeah thats a possibility. No point in worrying about it just yet, but be prepared to act on it. For me if I dont get the oath by July I'll renew my PR as I plan on travelling in Oct/Nov.

10 vs 15 isn't that bad if that is the case. We're all in this together. It'll take 4 months at least for each of us October people between DM and Oath. It's only been 2 months for me.

Hey guys just wanted to mention a friend's timeline. They applied last year in May and didn't get test date until March 1st. CIC apologized and to make up for it they gave an oath date for March as well. Test was in Scarborough but oath is in Thornhill.

Does the oath date info show up on the online application status? I'm at DM and wondering if I should keep checking the status. Reason I'm worried is because my batch didn't get an email or letter regarding test date and only found out by checking online. Thanks.
