**MISSISSAUGA PROCESSING** - Outland Spousal Applicants

GCKey in my experience (and from what I've read) doesn't update when you get PPR. When you get COPR after submitting your passport (or copy of it if that's all they want), that's when it updates to complete the background check, note the application has been approved, etc. FYI others in the...

**MISSISSAUGA PROCESSING** - Outland Spousal Applicants

I didn't get AOR2 until the day I got PPR. On that day, ecas changed to say they were processing my application. I wouldn't worry, ecas is not a reliable indicator of where your application is at. If you look at my timeline, I heard nothing back from them for 3 months after the transfer letter...

Sufficient proof of intent? Second guessing myself....

You don't get a confirmation email. If the document is showing as uploaded in MyCIC then you're all good. You'll hear from them again at the next stage of the application.

    CoPR received, doubts

Last part! MEDICAL INSURANCE: You should apply for government sponsored health insurance as soon as you arrive in Canada. Plans vary from province to province. Further information can be obtained from the Ministry of Health in the province of destination. If you plan to settle in Ontario...

    CoPR received, doubts

Second part! MEDICAL INFORMATION In some provinces, children cannot attend school without being properly immunized. Parents of school-aged children should obtain copies of records of immunization from their family doctor, school, or local health service before departing for Canada. Proof of...

    CoPR received, doubts

My letter said the below. It's generic (and loooong!) but hope it helps, but Hurlabrick's landing guide will tell you all you need to know and probably in clearer language: Your application for a permanent resident visa has been approved. If you are receiving this letter electronically via...

    CoPR received, doubts

Did you get anything sent to you on MyCIC? I got a copy of a covering letter sent there.

**MISSISSAUGA PROCESSING** - Outland Spousal Applicants

I don't think so. I heard nothing for 3 months after my application was transferred (effectively AOR2). Applications clearly sit and wait for quite some time without anyone looking at them because there is a backlog, even at Mississauga.

**MISSISSAUGA PROCESSING** - Outland Spousal Applicants

I'd confirm the results have definitely been sent to IRCC before worrying. The panel physician submits the results directly to IRCC through an online system in my understanding. They may need to wait for tests to be returned before they can submit it.

**MISSISSAUGA PROCESSING** - Outland Spousal Applicants

Yes I was. Things can be slow - did your medical company/panel physician confirm they've sent the results in? Does it say anything about them on MyCIC?

**MISSISSAUGA PROCESSING** - Outland Spousal Applicants

My sponsor received a transfer letter but I never received AOR2. Ecas didn't update, just had 1. We received your app, 2. Further correspondence (AOR1) and 3. Medical results received.

****FEBUARY 2018***** OUTLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP OUTSIDE OF CANADA

I have seen many people recommend leaving longer than an hour between flights. I think it really depends on the day but could easily take longer than the 50 minutes. Try to leave a few hours between the flights if you can to avoid stress, as you do have to do it at the first airport you land at...

Sufficient proof of intent? Second guessing myself....

I'd just submit via webform if it hasn't appeared giving that as the reason for using the webform. If it does appear after you've submitted by webform there's no problem submitting again via the upload slot too as webform takes a little while to be processed.

Sufficient proof of intent? Second guessing myself....

If you've been asked for proof you should have an upload slot on MyCIC. When you're on the application page look for the 'view submitted application' link on the top left and click that to get to the upload slots.

Sufficient proof of intent? Second guessing myself....

I posted this in another thread, this is what we submitted and got PPR/DM a few weeks afterwards: * Screengrabs of instant messaging conversations between the PA and the sponsor where moving was mentioned, e.g. looking at rental listings * Emails from sponsor to her friends back in Canada...

Even gloomier than my assessment then! Very good point. Just keen to encourage May applicants not to drive themselves crazy expecting anything anytime soon...

Thread for Outland LONDON, UK Applications!

Looks like November/December applications according to the spreadsheet. October applicants were receiving their DM in July/August so that's 9-10 months. May applicants will likely have to wait quite a while longer as they are only at 4-5 months. The spreadsheet shows the average processing...

    Contacting IRCC about pregnancy

If your fiance is British (or from another visa exempt country) it would be feasible for him to enter Canada under dual intent before the application has been finalised. Dual intent basically means entering as a visitor while you also have a PR application in process. He wouldn't be able to...

Thread for Outland LONDON, UK Applications!

Received COPR today, 1 September, in the post via Royal Mail signed for. 12 days after I sent the documents in response to the PPR. A document upload slot for my passport photocopy and updated information chart didn't appear on MyCIC so I sent these in hard copy alongside the photos and also...
