What is your VO? My sister is waiting hers to 4 weeks now since she submitted her photo, address and the declaration process. Still says In review. Her VO is Montreal.

My sister got a letter today Sept 25, 2023 to complete a process confirming a PR using a portal. Does this mean her application is approved?

Thanks for all your answers. She just got her permanent AOR in October 30, 2021 while the advertisement for LMIA is active. She applied for open work permit with her PR application. I didn’t hear anybody here yet got their open work permit approved under HCCP PR application so have no idea how...

Yes I am, I thought it’s going to be a long wait for the permanent AOR but it came so fast lol. just renewed her LMIA. she’s taking care of my 8 yr old.

Sharing my sister’s timeline under HCCP inside Canada. Submited the application March 15, 2021 IRCC Edmonton received application March 17, 2021 Temporary AOR received July 15, 2021 Permanent AOR received October 30, 2021

Hi, I applied my sister for HCCPP on March 2021 inside Canada. Got the temporary AOR July 2021. Her work permit will expire on January 16, 2022. Any idea if I still have to get a LMIA to renew work permit or does she have a implied status with temp AOR? Thanks

This is just normal. It happens to some applicants like me (I’m a March applicant). In my application my ECas was updated same day for invitation to take the test and oathtaking. I had my test on Sept 14, passed my test and had my oathtaking the same day (Sept. 14).

Yes, I had my test, interview and oathtaking yesterday.

Just in update on my application: Passed my exam today 20/20.. had an interview and oathaking ceremony after the exam. Now officially a Canadian citizen Good luck to all those still waiting..

That was the agent told me exam and oathtaking the same day when I contacted CIC this morning.. I was surprised but maybe because Its a 3 hours drive from my place to Edmonton. :)

The test will be on Sept 14.. oathtaking ceremony the same day if I will pass the citizenship test hopefully..
