    It is always from the day the open your application! When it takes them 1 month or 2 years to get to that point because there are many others before you...then it unfortunately takes that (extra) long.

    Usually AOR means what it says: Acknowledgment of Receipt. Meaning, they hereby confirm the arrival of your application, and you have been entered in the system. Thats it, thats all. No documents have been checked...nothing has been done. When it changes in your Ecas into "Started Processing"...

    Received AOR this morning. App. Received 12th May in Sydney. AOR came from there also. I'm located in Montreal. I didn't/don't check eCas since it was unreliable in my case during PR

    i personally wouldn't mind if it arrives a day later. it would be a bummer, yes. but...hey.. i'm here since 2010...it took them 2 years for my PR....its been now 5 years im here. If i would have to wait 1 more year..well...i made it the last 5 years here...so.. 1 more year doesn't change...

    :D you guys make me laugh... :D why do you guys spend so much money by sending it via FedEX etc.... and SO fast? If you are already here in Canada, it costs you 12 $ by registered mail (signature on arrival is the important thing) and it took 5 days...thats enough... lol
