    I also used the same technique and template both last time and this time as well. My scores were as follows L-8.5 W-7.5 R-9 S-9 My writing score dropped from 8 to 7.5 this time around, but I was able to get CLB 10+ overall and hence maxed out my IELTS with 8.5 Band.

As per various ielts training videos and sources, eg- , semi formal letters should end with "Yours Sincerely". However, i think both Faithfully and sincerly are appropriate and don't think it matters which one...

    Given that the scoring mechanism for deriving the CRS is constantly evolving, it seems highly unlikely that a year or 2 down the line, the cut-off scores as well as the points currently being allotted for french would remain the same.
