Pls update spread sheet... Finally received the Oath Taking Ceremony invitation email on November 2nd. Ceremony will be on November 14th.

Question: So, after DM, how do they send the OATH LETTER? Thru email or snail mail? Thanks.

Almost the same timeline as ours. After the test, DM was after 2 months. We still have yet to wait for the CEREMONY invite.

They would look for the original copies though. So make sure you have all the original documents—i.e, original passports, language proof, etc.

You have to use the name you used on your recent immigration document, e.g PR card. There is a portion on your application form (CIT-0002) about any name change. You need to submit any documents that would support your name change. A marriage certificate is needed to a change on family name...

There’s a portion on your application that would explain gaps with your passport. You can just say that passport has not been renewed. Simple and straight.
