Legal name change approved. Now what?? What are all the other documents I need to update?

I'm a citizen. I just had my legal name change application (Ontario) approved. I'm trying to understand sequence / priority of key documents that I'd need to update. Driver's License and Health Card (Service Ontario) - this is the document I'd need to use to change my name in various other...

How painful (or painless) is the name change process...?

I am already a citizen and live in Ontario. I have a TN visa for occasional work trips to the US. I need to change my surname. My surname will become my middle name, and my family name will become my new surname. How straightforward or quick is the name change process? Who do I need to...

Already mailed in passport copy after citizenship interview...but might get CIT 0520?

When I had my citizenship interview over a week ago, the officer had asked me to mail a copy of every page in my passport, which I did immediately afterwards. However, when going through some threads here, I see that the CIT 0520 has been received in the mail after a week or two. I'm traveling...

    October 11th 2017 - Citizenship Applicants under 3/5 rule

Oh ok. My officer didn't bother going through my stamps in the first place because he saw so many trips listed in my citizenship application (and then didn't want me to "go to sleep while he checked every stamp"). So he had asked me to mail a copy of the passport instead, so he can go through it...

    October 11th 2017 - Citizenship Applicants under 3/5 rule

This is exactly my case. I had to mail a copy of every page in my passport after the interview (which they would have received in the mail today). I really hope they move quickly on this, because this waiting game AFTER the citizenship test would be so demoralizing...

Asked to mail a copy of passport after citizenship interview...

Mine was in Ottawa. I applied with over 100 days as buffer. My officer didn't even tell me to celebrate lol the interview was all about mailing a copy of every page of my passport. He didn't even check for any documents apart from my PR card and driver's license!

Asked to mail a copy of passport after citizenship interview...

I hope it's totally normal. The officer mentioned that he already had gone through the CBSA records. I just wish he had gone through the stamps with me right then and there. This whole "mail in a copy of your passport" strategy felt strange, when he could have simply gone through my passport...

Asked to mail a copy of passport after citizenship interview...

I had my interview, and got 20/20 (I think practically everyone got 20/20 in fact). It was too easy, so to those who are worried, you don't need to be. However, I have traveled quite a lot for work in the past (and documented every single trip clearly). The officer mentioned that it will take a...
