In regard to linking an application to an online account; if I'm still unable to do so, (I've tried countless times over the last few months), will they just continue to send us all of our updates by email?

Not yet. I may get my MP to look into that. As I live in the U.S. it is difficult for me to contact CIC.

Yes, I did figure that. We included everything you mentioned, along with my bank account info and proof of a recent trip to Canada. I wonder why you were approved so easily and we have had significant issues? Frustrating.

It is bizarre! I wish I knew what is going on with our application. I just tried again yesterday to link it with my GC account, but I'm still getting the page with the message saying they can't find our application in the system. It's been beyond frustrating. I'm really glad your application...

Is anyone else still unable to link their application to their GC account? We received our AoR 1 back on November 5th and every time I've tried to link it, the message comes up that our application cannot be found.

Okay. I'm just so afraid that they are going to refuse my application to sponsor. The request for nonexistent tax information was the first red flag.

Yes, I've gathered that much already. We received a request for additional information on October 30th, our AoR 1 on November 5th, and then all the hassle to actually get the additional information issue sorted out. It's been complete silence since then.

Okay, do they always send the "Procedural Fairness Letter"? My local MP's office was finally able to get the requested information into CIC (or rather, the CRA printouts demonstrating definitively that the requested information does not exist), I haven't hear a single thing more from CIC...

Can I order the GCMS notes while I’m living in the U.S. One thread here said something about needing to be in Canada. Also, what happens if the GCMS notes don’t get to me before CIC formally refuses our application?
