    June 2022 - Citizenship Applicants

Yes, I believe on the forum I might be the first one. My intent of sharing the timeline was to let everyone know (as everyone does). If it provides hope or relief in some way. I understand the frustration felt by many. I’m a lawyer and I also practice immigration law. I help people every day...

    June 2022 - Citizenship Applicants

You seem to speculate way too much - not sure if that helps you. I only shared what I did. I didn’t want urgent processing. I respect the system and since I did not need my application processed faster, I didn’t provide any such reason. What IRCC did or thought doesn’t really matter to me and...

    June 2022 - Citizenship Applicants

I did not give any reason for needing the citizenship early at all. I only explained the application I have filed. I did not need it urgently processed either. Thanks!

    June 2022 - Citizenship Applicants

Sorry to hear that. I hope everyone’s applications move quicker. I’m not sure what made mine go faster. I did submit a Letter of Explanation with my application as an additional document (not sure if that helped?). I’m lawyer and I realized that it doesn’t hurt to put one.

I’m located in Etobicoke. Not sure how the ceremony will be since I haven’t received the letter yet. It has only been updated on the online tracker.

    Dual Bachelors Degree (4 years)

What I posted above regarding my application worked and I was granted PR back in 2019.

WES outcome - Dual Bacherlor's Degree (4 yrs) NOT Two Bachelor's Degrees (4 yrs)

I did the same thing. I entered my integrated five year dual degree as two entries (both bachelors) for the same duration and from the same university. I got 128 points for that. What you have done is fine as I did the same. I received my PPR in 64 days from AOR so don't worry. At the end of the...

WES outcome - Dual Bacherlor's Degree (4 yrs) NOT Two Bachelor's Degrees (4 yrs)

Yes, you can. I did the same with my BBA LLB and I have received my CoPR. Do explain it in your LoE.

WES outcome - Dual Bacherlor's Degree (4 yrs) NOT Two Bachelor's Degrees (4 yrs)

I did BBA LL.B. So I put it as follows: 1. Bachelor of Business Administration 2. Bachelor of Law You are basically putting each as separate bachelors. Keep the university details and course duration same. If you have any other queries, you can join a WhatsApp group called Canada Bound...

WES outcome - Dual Bacherlor's Degree (4 yrs) NOT Two Bachelor's Degrees (4 yrs)

I think I've responded to your post in another thread but here it is again for your ease: Hi, so after a lot of discussion with some lawyers migrating to Canada who were stuck in a similar situation. I believe a person in a similar situation has the following options: Option 1: Apply for ECA...

    Dual Bachelors Degree (4 years)

Hi, so after a lot of discussion with some lawyers migrating to Canada who were stuck in a similar situation. I believe a person in a similar situation has the following options: Option 1: Apply for ECA report from IQAS. They give professional degree status to the 5 year course. However, you...

WES outcome - Dual Bacherlor's Degree (4 yrs) NOT Two Bachelor's Degrees (4 yrs)

LoE is Letter of Explanation. It's a simple letter explaining your profile. Makes it easier for the visa officer to assess your profile. NOI is Notification of Interest. This is issued by provinces who want you to apply for their PNP. In my case, Ontario sent me the NOI. For Ontario and some...

WES outcome - Dual Bacherlor's Degree (4 yrs) NOT Two Bachelor's Degrees (4 yrs)

I followed advise of many and added it as two separate degrees. Then in the LoE, I explained why I have added my Dual Bachelor's as two degrees. The downside of this is that I ended up getting 440 points instead of 447. So I'm still waiting for my ITA as the CRS has not come down. However, I did...

    Ray Of Hope-86th Draw

Hi everyone, I need some help. I submitted my OINP application about 12hrs ago. I just thought I'll go on the e-portal to just have a look at the details I've submitted (although it doesn't matter now since the application has been submitted and paid for). When I try to log in after entering my...
