    Returning adult son

If they report him, can he still come into Canada for the duration of his PR card even though he will lose his PR status? Or, do they send them back regardless of expiry date on the PR Card? I'd rather he not face the embarrassment of traveling here only to be turned around.

    Returning adult son

After reading more I can now see that he obviously hasn't met the Residence Requirements to get a renewal of a PR Card. What is the next step then? Can we begin the process over?

    Ontario Health Insurance

I have found three links... but the best I think may be Blue Cross for new immigrants. https://www.useblue.com/assurance-voyage/trouver-produit/liste-protections/visiteurs-canada1/visiteurs-canada-immigrants.en.html Good luck to those who are in the same boat, and to those waiting.

    Ontario Health Insurance

Hello everyone! Finally have my wife over here in Canada as of December. My question, for those who are in the know, is where can I get her some health insurance while she is here (until the OHIP card becomes good to go...which is in three months from her landing). Any advice would be...

    Port of Entry?

I just thought of something. I had always assumed that my wife and son would come in from the Philippines to Winnipeg as it's the closest city to me. Is there actually a place that they would have to come into Canada first to see an Immigration Officer? Or would there be one at the Winnipeg...

    How much time to prepare?

Hello everyone, I have been hearing horror stories of those being sponsored in the Phillipines being given by the Canadian Embassy there only a couple of weeks to pack up and head to Canada once they've been given acceptance. I thought that they gave a year? or up to the point of when your...

    Right of Permanent Residence Fee

Our son was from a previous relationship that my wife had many years ago. This letter I received today though only mentions my...
