    Sponsor brother

This is right off the IRCC website: "Some Canadian citizens and permanent residents may be eligible to sponsor a relative that does not fall into the age or relationship categories described above, but only if the Canadian sponsor does not have a spouse or common law partner, or other relatives...

    Mexico

We were August 2, 2018. Through MexCity. It was quite frustrating since there had been nothing since AOR2 on Feb.28. Then, miraculously, it all happened . BGC started on July 15, Pré-Arrival on July 16 and PPR on July 18. Many others have had the same kind of timeline. Keep the Faith.

    Spouse visit.

Some people on these forums disagreed but I believe that it's extremely difficult to get a visitor's visa if a couple is already married and the applicant is not from a visa exempt country. Failing to disclose the marriage on the visitor's visa application would seriously jeopardize any future...

****August 2018***** OUTLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP OUTSIDE OF CANADA

Fantastic news but the Pre-Arrival and PPR should really follow in short order. Why can't this be done by E-Mail? The GCKey could possibly never be updated even though you were approved.

    Mexico

Keep cool . I'm almost certain that in many, many cases the eligibility and BGC has begun but the GCKey and ECAS are not updated. In our case, even after the approval from MexCity and PPR, those had not yet been updated. Why does that happen? IRCC works in mysterious ways. I'm not sure who...

MexicoCity Visa Office timelines & updates -Family Sponsor sheet-

Are you talking about sponsor approvals? Six months is not outrageous to receive your AOR2. Are you saying that January applicants through Mexico City have already gotten their PPRs? That would be some kind of divine miracle.

For us it was a month. There's very little consistency.

    Spouse Visa Processing Time

We waited four and a half months for the first acknowledgement of receipt from Sydney (AOR1) so it's all over the place.

    Overstay ..marriage

I ,and I'm sure many others , have little sympathy for her. She has been living here for three years without status. I'm not sure if it's allowed for her to claim inland PR through marriage but if it is then that's a loophole that should be closed. I'm not being coldhearted . One way to stop...

CPC-M ECAS is at DM but No PPR

Srange. The GCKey is more current. According to them. Your online statuses may be different depending on which tool you use because: your online account: provides status for each step needed to process your application and is updated in real-time. the Check application status tool...

If you haven't deleted them, you can backup the chats to Google Drive and them print them out. If you already deleted them then they'll be on Google Drive if backup was set.

****JULY 2018***** OUTLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP OUTSIDE OF CANADA

Don't take this as the Lord's word but from my experience, and from that of others , you can expect the PPR at about the elevem and a half month mark. For you that would be mid August. That is assuming that yours is a straight forward application with good documentation and with no complications.

MexicoCity Visa Office timelines & updates -Family Sponsor sheet-

That seems to be the norm. It was 7 months before we got AOR2. (Acknowledgement of receipt from Mexico City). Then we waited four and a half months for the passport request. So, be prepared to wait. She dropped off her passport at the Brasilia visa office today. It should come back from Sao...

MexicoCity Visa Office timelines & updates -Family Sponsor sheet-

I'm on IMMTracker but most people on there don't regularly update. Not much there for Mexico City. We've just received our PPR from Mexico City. There is a huge disconnect between the updates that appear on the GCKey and what is actually happening . We had the key change to BGC in Progress...
