I had the test ast Monday in Montreal and the immigration agent told me they need 2 to 3 months to complete the evaluation of the application and then 6 months to Oath.

Good to know, I was hoping they had the time to check everything in 1 year. Do we know if the decision is positive or negative in the dm update status on ecas ?

Please update my info: finally received the test invite on December 21 (our Xmas gift !) The date of the test is January 21.

I'm in the same situation, IP since April. I've contacted them on October too, and they said everything is ok with our application and process is normal. For now I think nothing will happen before mid-January. I decided to wait and not contact them again, in case the impact is negative, who knows !

don't want to be pessimistic but it took 2 months before my application was returned :-( (sent at the end of November, returned at the end of January)

I reveived the application back around 2 months later. Our whole applications (me and my husband) were sent back. Then our applications went to the regular flow of January's applications, I think it's the process.

my husband missed this question in fact, he did not make any choice but provided the details of the travels. My application was considered as complete and I've marked YES for the time spent outside the country, I did not provide the CIT0177, only the copy of the online physical presence...

I think by regular mail (I was not at home the day we received the application) ... do you think the way they return the application means something different or influences the treatment?

In one of our applications we forgot to check « yes » to the question about the time spent outside Canada. Although there was the sheet with all the details of our trips...rules were well respected!
