It is because you have not completed all the required forms. I suspect it's the travel history form. Check the list of required forms to complete.

Thanks for the information. I think I wasn't clear enough. I only used my email to open the online account. All the information etc were filled by the applicant. The applicant is my wife and I'm the sponsor. We both have access to that email.

Nicely itemized. However, we need to remember that getting a Canadian citizenship is a privilege not a right. I sincerely hope things move as quickly as possible for everyone while we also keep the people living in Canada safe. Let the bickering stop already.

I'm with everyone here and I support the push for alternatives. However, I just got reminded by an immigration lawyer today that citizenship is a 'priviledge' not a 'right' so the government won't budge to any pressure.

I'm confused--how are you eligible to apply for Canadian citizenship? If you're currently a permanent resident of Canada and had to take the language test for your PR application, that result should suffice for your citizenship application, even if it has expired.

What number did you call?

I only have experience with Toronto. Let them know when you are in Canada and available to take the oath. They should reschedule in within a week. Please note, this is just based on 'one' person.

I'm interested in the response to this question, assuming dual citizenship is allowed.
