Ray of Hope - 99th Draw

TL;DR; Although, I agree that everyone should do a basic French course, French is not easy, especially if you aren't exposed to the concept of all nouns having either masculine or feminine gender. Also, basic French will not fetch you any points in the EE draw not a PNP nomination. Below are...

I find it sad when I see “Champion Member” or “Hero Member” as a title. Feels like this guy has no hope...:p

Someone said Justin Trudeau is waiting at my doorstep with an ITA. Is he by any chance an Indian dude?

I didn’t not receive an ITA and I refreshed my inbox a couple of times. I haven’t taken my IELTS or created an EE profile. What am I missing? Someone please help.

Never mind. You enjoy the rest of your day, ma’am. Or as they say in espagnol, “Bottoms up!”

Ray of Hope - 97th Draw

This is a simple demand and supply problem. When there was less demand last year, the 413’s got in. Today, there are 250+ people entering the draw every day at 440 and above. IRCC only wants the cream of the crop. Nothing wrong with that. As a country, Canada has the right to accept or deny any...

Guys, it’s EID today. Find a person who does or does not celebrate EID and have some delicious biryani. IRCC and EE will be here - today, tomorrow and day after. Celebrate today! PS I lose 5 points in May next year. It’s alright. There are other ways to improve your score.

lol. His question, to which I replied, was very specific. And yes, obviously you have to have the profile submitted before the round eligibility cutoff date.

I disagree, completely. Apart from Canadian citizens, no one is entitled to anything from the Canadian government agencies for free. I strongly believe that IRCC should ask for all the documents in electronic format and the CAD 490 in fees, in advance and only then should an ITA be issued. The...

Ray of Hope - 97th Draw

The real question here is how much time do you need to get all your documents? If it’s going to take you 1-2 months, do you want to decline an ITA in every round? I would suggest you get advice from an IRCC approved and registered representative if it’s a complicated issue.

Ray of Hope - 97th Draw

The next draw should happen in another 5 and a half hours. Don’t decline your ITA if your score is below 442. Chances are you might not get one again in 2018 or you’ll get one in every draw from now on. It’s hard to predict the cutoff scores atm. Also, that’s someone’s opportunity/dream that...

Ray of Hope - 97th Draw

Not necessary. For example, there are 4000 applicants with a score of 440 or above. Only 3750, i.e. the fixed draw size, will get an invitation and the remaining 250 will not receive an invite. The criteria here is first come, first serve, so profiles are ranked on CRS score and on profile...

Ray of Hope - 97th Draw

A scheduled maintenance is basically deployment of new code or applying security patches to the operating system. It is always done at a time when there is less traffic on the website, typically at night. But, since IRCC website is accessed from around the world, it should not matter. It seems...

Ray of Hope - 96th Draw

Draw size will not increase anytime soon because of factors external to the EE which heavily influence the immigration system. Next draw should see 3750 invitations @ 440 cutoff.
